Muchos usuarios en línea argumentan que la transfobia está intrínsecamente ligada a la misoginia, viendo a las TERF (Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists) como cómplices del patriarcado al reforzar roles de género tradicionales y excluir a las mujeres trans.
