- The existence of billionaires cannot be justified in a world where working-class people with multiple jobs still cannot afford the basic necessities of life.
- It is obscene that we will soon have a trillionaire class.
- No one should have that much money, period. Not when there are any people out here who cant eat or have no place to safely lay their heads at night.
- Having that much wealth concentrated in so few people is obscene. It is more than time for us to tax these morbidly rich people so that finally the people that generated this vast wealth can benefit from it.
- The idea that any one person can be worth 100-billion dollars is reason enough to nuke capitalism.
- The richer you get, the more likely you made that money by exploiting others.
- The elites and wealthy will always push for more profit in any way they can, even at the expense of peoples lives.
- The greed of these super-rich people can never be satisfied no matter how much money they have. They will always crave more, content to harm others to get it.
- Billionaires are only billionaires because they steal staggering amounts of resources from regular people.
- The problem is that people like this - mediocre, selfsatisfied, slightly silly people- never feel rich enough.
- People are starving or really having a hard time just meeting their basic economic needs, and theres somebody who has more money than some countries. Its a perfect illustration of inequality.
- Under capitalism, its normal to let people go hungry, let banks force people out of their homes, let sick people die for lack of healthcare.
- Rich people spend more money on trying not to give poor people money than the poor people even need.
- The vast majority of us spend most of our lives one wealthy-persons-decision away from poverty, but theyll have you believe poor, powerless people are the problem.
- The utter b0ll0cks of the ultra-rich using philanthropy to patronise the people they underpay and deprive of basic services by not paying tax.
- The billionaires will never be satisfied qmd always demand a larger wealth hoard- at the expense of many other people.
- The system is rigged so that the rich and powerful always get off scot free and the rest of us live with their table scraps.
- We need to understand that billionaires are the enemy of democracy and the enemy of working people and treat them accordingly.
- The only hope i have is that billionaires and trillionairs think, stupidly, that they control the masses. However, whats more dangerous than people that cannot afford to house and feed their family? nuclear weapons dont even come close.
- Tax the rich, pay the people, spread the power.
