- Its about everything ive seen on fandoms. I dont like how morally frail people start harassment and push people over the edge to the point of commiting suicide and get away with it.
- My main issue with a lot of modern fandom is people putting fictional characters above treating actual people with respect im literally just here to watch my favorite characters go brr and have a good time!!
- Fandom is a toxic beast by nature. We all belong in one of those circles of hell probably.
- The amount of people that devote themselves to witch-hunting even just within the fandom like its some holy, righteous cause without ever having interacted with you or seen you in the slightest is so insane.
- I am a mean cynical person but even i have the basic fucking empathy skills to know grooming kids and sexually assaulting people is wrong. Theres plenty of nice people in the fandom that are actually dangerous.
- I just wish people chose to have fun over looking at and involving themselves in stuff they dont like. Plenty of ships i dont like. I have a notp that i absolutely hate for the first time in my life, but i talk about it in private and curate my space.
- God, so real people talk about separating the author from the work but apparently cant separate a characters evil actions from that characters interesting traits.
- One thing i dislike about statements about woobification of antagonists is they cant be sad or want a hug, theyre evil in the same way that people go they cant be evil, theyre just sad and want a hug like they can be both. You are all idiots.
- I think a lot of people forget the point of steven universe is that total ultraviolence isnt the go to solution to everything and sometimes trying to kill everyone just makes everything worse.
- I think a lot of people might have heard about one of the multiple lesbians in nier automata, but not enough people are aware that the mask yoko taro wears is of his favorite nier character, emil, whos entire existence represents the inherent innocencegoodness of childhood while also being gay.
- I love how we were all prepared for vox to be evil like okay, beating people up, being a dictator, defending his pimp boyfriend, typical evil shit we never considered racism.
- I think people forget that alastor had to deal with racism and are saying alastor deserves the humiliation because of what he did to vox and possibly husk.
- I wish more people understood that its not, like, an insult to have conflicting headcanons with someone else. It doesnt mean you have to hate or block them.
- Funny as one of the biggest dramas in the fandom are people complaining about shipping alastor, an asexual character, but at same time the aphobia against a vivienne and other acearo real people is pretty much normalized.
- 12 ive been thinking about this. I dont understand the point of negative posts about other peoples ships in fandom spaces. Whats the goal? it doesnt change anyones mind, it just makes people who enjoy that ship feel unwelcome, when fandom is supposed to be fun.
- This and what happened to dana terrace really shows that people need to not treat headcanons as fact. Just because a creator deconfirms something doesnt mean you need to go on a witch hunt!
- I love when people ruin everything fun i loved it viv! it really sent waves through the fandom. Please dont feel like you cant say what you want.
- Im fr exhausted with every single alastor ship post being riddled with people going uhm akshuallyy hes 𝘈𝘙𝘖𝘈𝘊𝘌 youre exhausting. As a touch averse aroace person myself, youre physically fucking exhausting. Please grow up, touch grass, and let people ship whatever they want to ship.
