Se insta a los usuarios a verificar la autenticidad de las cuentas y a no enviar dinero a enlaces de PayPal sospechosos, incluso si parecen provenir de contactos conocidos.
- "hey, just so you know - this reply to you is a scammer impersonating . - please dont send anything to this paypal".
- "i would not put a paypal link for a scammer here. Please remove this post. People may misunderstand and send money to the scammer.".

Los estafadores emplean diversas tácticas, incluyendo la solicitud de tarifas para desbloquear fondos, el uso de cuentas de PayPal no verificadas y la creación de perfiles falsos con información robada.
