- The thing is, terfs don't want to fight the patriarchy most terfs don't even care about feminism at all even, they just want to hurt trans people, and they'll happily support the patriarchy for that.
- Terfs aren't fighting patriarchy, they're it's first line of defense against feminism they essentialize women down to nothing but biological reproductive units and a series of culturally-appropriate roles, exactly like misogynists.
- Terfs claim to be feminist but all they do it defend the patriarchy and attack anyone who defies it.
- I say that terf's are just patriarchy defending itself. They're so brainwashedbigoted, it starts with being transphobic then moves on to the extreme misogyny they claim they're fighting.
- Terfs are not materially opposed to the patriarchy. They just want a stable second-class carve-out for themselves.
- Feminism supposed to be about shattering the restrictive gender roles and norms imposed on society by patriarchy terfs perpetuate the patriarchy and don't give a fuck about liberation of any women, not even cis women with this bs.
- It's ironic to me they claim trans people are the ones trying to uphold sexism and patriarchy, when it's terfs who can't imagine being a woman outside of their oppression within patriarchy and impose that version of womanhood on everyone else.
- Terfs are morons who support the patriarchy that harms them by enforcing the gender binary and the idea that manhood and womanhood is innate & immutable.
- Terf ideology isn’t feminism—it’s fear wrapped in theory. It clings to rigid ideas of womanhood to avoid discomfort with change and plurality. That’s not liberation, that’s projection. Gatekeeping gender isn’t radical—it’s reactionary. You’re reinforcing patriarchy, not dismantling it.
- Wild how much of terf ideology seems serves to attack women's rights. From bodily autonomy to safety in certain spaces and it's all based on the misogynistic assertion that women are, in almost all facets, inferior to men, not as a consequence of patriarchy but some sort of biological determinism.
- Terfs turn their rage at the patriarchy on other women by making some of the most vulnerable women (trans women) out to be the enemy under the guise of "women's rights.".
- Terfs are the perfect example of an oppressed group (women in patriarchal society) being the most aggressive against a more oppressed group (trans women) rather than the oppressing one (patriarchy).
- It's amazing how "gender criticals" (really sex essentialists) who are active, overt terfs have a way of hoisting onto trans women every grievance about the patriarchy. As if trans women were their oppressors this whole time rather than a useful punching bag.
- Many terfs have personified all of their grievances with patriarchy into their imagined picture of what a trans woman is, and they've lost the plot so thoroughly that they think that marginalizing trans women will solve their patriarchy problem.
- Terfs: because fighting the patriarchy is hard work and you just want to punch down.
- Feminism is anti-patriarchy.
- Terfs aren't true feminists. Real feminists are trans-inclusive. Terfs uphold the patriarchy, and trans people fight to dismantle the patriarchy.
- True feminism is trans inclusive. Anything else is just patriarchy in disguise. And honestly, terfs are upholding the very thing they claim to be fighting against: misogyny and the patriarchy.
- Reminder that being a terf isn't feminist by definition because terfs are trying to uphold the status quo of the patriarchy and its gender roles.
- Trans-eradication has always been about patriarchal enforcement of gender roles. Always that's why terms like terf are contradictions. You simply cannot be anti-trans and feminist at the same time, because anti-trans belief systems are rooted in upholding the patriarchy.
