La principal preocupación es que el dinero gastado en Amazon financia directamente a un multimillonario percibido como traidor y fascista, que utiliza su riqueza para socavar la democracia. Se insta a la gente a "votar con sus dólares" y a negar a Bezos su dinero ganado con esfuerzo.

Jeff Bezos es criticado por su inmensa riqueza, su codicia (ej. usando el servicio postal para ahorrar dinero) y su supuesta colaboración con regímenes autoritarios. Su propiedad del Washington Post (Wapo) es vista como una herramienta de influencia política, dispuesta a perder dinero para mantener el favor del poder.
- Jeff bezos is worth 232 billion, yet he has amazon prime orders delivered through the post office to save money. We then have to travel 30 miles to pick up our orders. What a greedy sob.
- Bezos ideology is money. The ends justify the means. Maybe when he bought wapo he wanted it to succeed, but hell ruin it to stay in favor with whoevers in power.

Aunque muchos han cancelado Prime y evitan las compras minoristas, se reconoce que la desconexión total es casi imposible debido a Amazon Web Services (AWS), la principal fuente de ingresos de Amazon, que sustenta gran parte de internet. La conveniencia del envío rápido y los precios bajos dificulta el boicot para muchos consumidores.
- Amazon makes most of its money by cloud hosting. Since its companies buying cloud services theres not a lot we can do about this.
- Aws is a bigger money maker for amazon than retail. Boycotting aws pretty much requires getting completely off the internet.
- I dont know why anyone is still giving amazon money when we all know how shit they are as a company. Im so tired of the excuses. We cant have a revolution until people can handle giving up 2-day shipping.
