- Racism and misogyny gave trump the election. The majority of women voted for trump, and they will feel it the hardest. Oops.
- People voted for trump because of racism and misogyny. Full stop. There's no spin on that.
- Finding any excuse for trump winning other than racism and misogyny is excusing the racist and misogynist who voted for him.
- You weren't supposed to make other people vote. Other voters were supposed to use their brains and realize that this is a zero sum situation, and a trump administration is going to be horrible. In the end there are 3 reasons for the result: 1) misogyny 2) racism 3) willful ignorance.
- As every other rationale for supporting trump is shown to be a lie, we’re once again left with the conclusion that what people were really voting for was racism and misogyny, period.
- They knew trump was a bad choice and they refused to vote for a highly qualified black woman so here we are. Racism and misogyny have become the downfall of this country.
- They couldn’t get themselves to vote for a black woman. Racism and misogyny was the real reason. Now i hope they suffer.
- They just didn’t want to vote for a highly competent, pro democracy, pro urainian, pro choice woman of color. Call it what you want but racism & misogyny is a good start.
- It was also a test for misogyny and racism, and a lot more people failed that test, even if they didn't vote at all, because however they despised trump, they still couldn't bear to vote for a woman of colour.
- No matter how many people claim it was the economy, policies or experience, etc, it was all about racism and misogyny. Even now, with all trump has done so far, some in focus groups claim they would vote for him again. It’s about not wanting a woman president and especially a black woman. Shameful.
- So many people voted against their self interest because of racism & misogyny. I believe it's as simple as that.

- Whether they ignored her or not, they just could not bear the thought of voting for a woman--and worse, a non-white woman. Their misogyny and racism is larger than their self-interest. They fukked around and now they’re finding out, and i am all out of sympathy.
- I hate to break it to you, but the people who didn't vote more than likely didn't vote because of racism and misogyny as well. Couldn't bring themselves to vote for a woman.
- Roughly 1/3 of voters chose the monster, 1/3 chose the competent woman of color and to their everlasting shame 1/3 did not care enough to vote. America has a significant problem with racism, misogyny and critical thinking.
- Many of those who stayed home as well as all of those who voted for trump were motivated by racism and misogyny.
- So true for sure racism and misogyny were why 36% of registered voters did not vote.
- Trouble is those who didn’t vote didn’t want to vote for a black woman. So they took a chance that trump wouldn’t be too bad. They’re idiots & we’re ruled by racism & misogyny. This is what happens when u don’t vote.
