Una de las quejas más recurrentes es la sensación de que estas figuras mienten sin consecuencias, actuando con una audacia que sugiere que se sienten intocables. La mentira se convierte en una herramienta estratégica para manipular a la base de votantes.

Existe una frustración palpable con los medios de comunicación por permitir que las mentiras se difundan sin un desafío inmediato o suficiente. Se cuestiona la utilidad de asistir a conferencias de prensa donde la deshonestidad es la norma.
