- So-called journalists need to grow a pair and call a lie a lie, on air, to their faces, when they say it.
- Why are journalists incapable of saying that it is a lie? this is the kind of crap that has led us to this moment.
- We need more of this. Calling a lie a lie. Not a mistruth, not a miscommunication but a lie. Our media is terrible for this.
- Why not just say its a lie? bad enough to quote or paraphrase the lie - but then to not clearly identify it as a lie has got to violate every ethic a journalist ought to have.
- The lying is obvious. The real problem is why news networks are willing to allow them to lie-to assist them, in fact, by asking questions that they will obviously lie to-and then to broadcast it. This is beyond stupidity.
- Its not journalism. Its profit driven entertainment. They can lie to themselves but theyre not fooling me.
- Why are they just allowed to lie? i would be shutting the broadcast down every time. Its journalistic malpractice not to call them out and then if they refuse to back down, the interview should stop and people be told facts.
- News outlets must also comes to grip with the fact that when they invite known liars to broadcast their lies in an outlets media, trust in the outlet suffers. They can protest that they didnt lie, the guest did, but for ppl paying attention, thats not an excuse. You invited lies.
- The press needs to stop airing their lies. As soon as a guest starts lying, the press should just say that is a blatant lie, so we will be cutting short this segment and cut it. Dont give them any more attention.
- As soon as they lie their mics should be shut off and interviews over. Make it plain you stand up for facts and the truth. Yeah that would really be a huge help.
- Cut them off when they lie. Always. Were sick of hearing their lying voices and would love some consequences.
- I wish more newscasters would have their producers working feverishly while these liars are responding, turn to the camera and say, viewers, everything he just said is a lie, and here are the facts do this every time!
