- Division is a distraction. When leaders turn us against each other, its because theyre afraid of what we could do together. We deserve a country built on solidarity, not scapegoating.
- The division is by design. The anger is a wedge put there for the purpose of getting us to fight amongst ourselves, while they steal everything.
- Division neutralizes the threat. We find enemies in our neighbors and fail to work together against the real trouble makers.
- Thats what gets me about people saying dont cause division. In almost all cases the division already exists. Its not being caused, its just being pointed out.
- Some say i cause more division by pointing out the division. Lets not beat around the bush. Its pure and utter bullshit meant to keep the status quo.
- Pointing out problems doesnt create division. Incompetence and carelessness vs competence and caring create division.
- The real problem lies in the inability to accept differing opinions without perceiving them as personal threats.
- It absolutely is, and thats by design. Division is most easily sowed by dehumanizing each side to the other.
- Our division is caused by the fact that we have somehow found a way to make empathy and patriotism controversial subjects.
- We need human solidarity, not division.
- We are community-based creatures, not meant to shack up with one or so person in an isolated bubble. That doesnt actually benefit you, even though it sounds cozy and ideal sometimes.
- Unity was never about sameness its about choosing compassion over division, understanding over fear, and community over conflict.
- Our news media craves division as much as our politicians do. They want us to be angry, divided, bitter. Its far easier to rile people up against other people.
- Splitting linguistic hairs unfortunately doesnt help anyone in the end, all it does is cause needless division among people that should be united.
- The obsession with creating division when its so obvious that so called kitchen table issues and so called identity issues are deeply linked to each other is so exhausting.
