Los usuarios reaccionan a la noticia de que Meta, bajo la dirección de Mark Zuckerberg, eliminará a los verificadores de datos de sus plataformas. Esta medida es percibida como una rendición a la presión política y una puerta abierta deliberada a la desinformación, bajo el pretexto de reducir la "censura".

Como respuesta directa a los cambios en las políticas, numerosos usuarios anuncian su decisión de abandonar o boicotear las plataformas de Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads) y X. La principal razón es su negativa a contribuir a espacios que consideran tóxicos y promotores de la desinformación.

Consideran que las plataformas se están transformando en herramientas de propaganda para asegurar una relación favorable con la nueva administración.
